Clarke's Bible Promises app for iPhone and iPad

Samuel Clarke (1684-1759) compiled this collection of bible promises during his 38 years as a nonconformist clergyman in St. Albans, England. Working against a tumultuous background of political and religious upheaval, and foreign invasion, Clarke sought to nourish the Christian community by allowing them to quickly find the promises relevant to their need and thereby “constantly plead the promises with God in prayer.” Clarke’s promises are presented here under their original chapter and section headings. The user may browse the promises or view promises randomly and the app can optionally play the promise audibly.
